We were proud to have one of our partners, David Dean, present at the Fall 2010 Florida School Finance Officers Association (FSFOA) conference. He discussed the the Florida Cost Report system and some of the enhancements that have been done around the state to help facilitate the collection and reporting of the data. We are proud to announce that we have moved our Cost Report server to a world class colocation facility. This move provides more reliable service for our current Cost Report SaaS(Software as a Service) offering and the ability to scale for our future application offerings. The colocation offers us access to 24/7 network monitoring and network specialist, multi-layered router support, redundant connections to Tier 1 internet providers, sophisticated power management (with on-site power generators), and a secured site that is located in a Cat-5 hurricane rated facility.
So what does that mean in English? It means the Cost Report service will have increased internet reliability, increased connection speed, and increased data security. It will also give us the bandwidth to roll out additional Cost Report enhancements that will make your job easier.
